Jesse Shue of Penn Manor and Warwick’s Elle Overly are the Lancaster-Lebanon League male and female golfers of the year, as voted by league coaches.

The coaches also announced all-league and all-section teams last week.

Shue, a junior, shot a four under-par 68 on a nasty weather day at Tanglewood Manor Sept. 26 to win the L-L individual title by four shots. He finished tied for ninth in Class AAA in the District Three tournament, and tied for 42nd in the PIAA state tournament.

Overly, also a junior, shot 75 to win the league title, was second in districts and tied for ninth in AA in states. She had the league’s lowest girls’ scoring average, 72.2.

Also making first team all-league:

*Manheim Township senior Andrew Bilson, who led the Blue Streaks to the Section One and league tournament titles, tied for ninth in District Three AAA and for tenth in states. Bilson announced this week he will play Division One college golf at Rider University

*Piper Smith of Manheim Township, a sophomore who finished second (by one shot) to Everly for the league girls’ title, was third in District Three and 18th in states. Smith also shot a 72 at Penn State University to lead the Blue Streaks to a second-place finish in the state AAA girls’ team competition in the team’s first year of existance.

*Reagan Flynn of Annville-Cleona, who won the District Three boys’ AA title. Shooting an even par total of 72-72-144 at Briarwood in York. Flynn tied for 25th in states.

*Cedar Crest sophomore Dylan Ramsey, the 2022 PIAA AAA champion, who finished second in leagues, tied for ninth in districts and 40th in states. With a 71.2 scoring average, Ramsey led the L-L for the secod straight year.

*Logan Francis of A-C, a sophomore who was fourth in districts and 11th in the state, shooting a final-round even-par 72 at Penn State University’s White Course.

Honorable mention all-league: Ben Connors of Manheim Township, Brayden Herr of Solanco, Ian Kennett of Lancaster Mennonite, Addison Rosa of Lampeter-Strasburg, Cole Stoltzfus of Pequea Valley and Drew Wilson- Lampeter-Strasburg

Section One All-Stars: Bilson, Shue, Ramsey, Smith, Connors, Ethan Rader of Cedar Crest and Carson DiBiaso of Cedar Crest.

Honorable Mention: Braden Leed of Manheim Township, Brayden Sauder of Penn Manor and Jadon Lee of Hempfield.

Section Two All Stars: Overly, Herr, Joey McGinty of Warwick, Ethan Tardibuano, Alex Shiner and Mason Tardibuano of Conestoga Valley and Kaden Heckman of Ephrata.

Honorable mention: Landon Reylek of Warwick and Thomas Kowalinski and Luke Landis of CV.

Section Three All-Stars: Wilson, Rosa, Charlie Westerlund and Brady Weichler of Lampeter-Strasburg, Brady Shipton of Cocalico, Jon Breinich of Manheim Central and Lila Albertson of Garden Spot.

Honorable Mention: Evan Humphreys of Garden Spot, Colin Bogart of Elco, Hunter Zimuth of Octorara and Ethan Moua of Cocalico.

Section Four All-Stars: Flynn, Francis, Stoltzfus, Kennett and Wesley Heller of Annville-Cleona.

Honorable mention: Max Hershey and Dylan Stoltzfus of Pequea Valley, and Levi Shoemaker and Leland Kohr of Northern Lebanon.
