NOTES:Knight
I was recently on assignment at Landis Valley Village & Farm Museum and couldn’t get over how well maintained the structures were, particularly the 19th-century yellow barn.
It was such a beautiful day — the colors just popped. This quaint little village that sits in the middle of the county has served as the backdrop for the Oprah Winfrey movie “Beloved” and has taught thousands of students the history of Pennsylvania German artifacts as well as offering a look at authentic traditional farming, village and industrial life, skilled craft demonstrations and historical animals and plants.
THE METHOD: Nikon D6 with a Nikkor VR 70-200 mm f-2.8E lens. 1/8000th second; f-4.0; ISO 320; aperture priority; pattern metering. Processed in Adobe Photoshop.
