The death of a 19-year-old man shot and killed Saturday night in Lancaster city was a homicide, according to the Lancaster County Coroner’s Office, which performed an autopsy Monday.

Around 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Lancaster city police said they found Elliott Corbin with a gunshot wound on the 400 block of South Prince Street after a report of shots fired. Corbin was transported to Lancaster General Hospital, where he died of his injuries.

According to the autopsy report, Corbin was shot more than once.

The shooting is under investigation. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Lancaster city police at 717-735-3300 or submit an anonymous tip online at lancaster.crimewatchpa.com.

Around 4:30 p.m. Monday, dozens of people gathered at the intersection of South Prince and Hazel streets in Lancaster city to remember Corbin. People lined the street with black and blue balloons and lit candles in his honor.
