City Hearts 26.jpg

Red hearts hang along the 100 block of North Queen Street for Valentine's Day, which is used as a fundraiser by the Rotary Club of Lancaster Penn Square on Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2022.

Proclaim your love for all of downtown Lancaster to see with the Rotary Club of Lancaster Penn Square's eighth annual Valentine's Day heart fundraiser.

Those interested can purchase customizable heart-shaped signs that will be displayed around Lancaster city.

The hearts cost $50, with proceeds going toward projects that benefit Lancaster city. The signs, which will be sold through Feb. 7, are available for purchase online.

Text options, beyond the customizable names, include "My One & Only," "Love You More," "Kiss Me on Queen Street," "Be My Valentine" and more.

The signs can celebrate more than just romantic love, too. The Rotary Club of Lancaster Penn Square also offers sign options for best friends and pets.

The club will make a social media announcement when they start to hang the hearts.

After Valentine's Day, those who ordered hearts may pay an additional $50 to keep their heart, otherwise it will be recycled for next year.
