The Pennsylvania Football News Coaches Select All-State lists are out for the 2023 season. And it was a bonanza for multiple Lancaster-Lebanon League pigskin standouts.
Five Lancaster-Lebanon League football standouts were honored Thursday, when the Pennsylvania Football Writers Class 1A, 2A and 3A All-State teams were revealed.
A 37-team league produces a lot of outstanding football players, and the Lancaster-Lebanon League has done that the past two years after 13 teams from Berks County joined two dozen others from Lancaster, Lebanon and Chester counties.
The L-L League welcomed a trio of senior quarterbacks into the coveted 5,000-yard passing club this past season, with Manheim Township’s Hayden Johnson, Ephrata’s Sam McCracken and Manheim Central’s Zac Hahn joining the master list.
